Tokyo Police Club — Wait Up (Boots of Danger)

When you see two affable artists on one track, your ears always gravitate towards the play button. So when I saw that Tokyo Police Club’s upcoming album Champ had it’s bonus tracks leak, with a Passion Pit remix, I was pretty ecstatic. However choosing between the Passion Pit remix of Wait Up (Boots of Danger) and the original version took quite a bit of deliberation. Luckily, the closest star to Earth helped me make this crucial decision, as the Passion Pit remix is just not suited for beautiful summer days. The original is a bit sappier, but perfect for that laid-back Sunday afternoon barbecue.
