We Are Scientists — Foreign Kicks

When one of your favorite bands puts out a new CD, it always seems like they’ll either meet or fail to meet your expectations. However, there are a select few bands for whom you find a CD that really grows on you. I wouldn’t put We Are Scientists’ new album Barbara in that category just quite yet, but this CD is definitely beginning to sprout on my acoustic taste buds. For a while, I couldn’t pick one song from the album to post because I felt so-so about all the songs for quite a while. Then I listened to the intro of Foreign Kicks while staring at the sun and so it goes.
