Four Tet — Sing (Banton’s Indian Chants Remix)

One of the artists I have listened to quite a bit this year has been Four Tet, a minimal, house DJ who put out a wonderful album entitled There is Love in You. This album is probably my second favorite album of the year up till this point; as such I kind of feel bad for not posting any songs from it. Luckily, Hardhouse Banton provided the Four Tet fans of the world a remixed version of my favorite song off There is Love in You, Sing. While this remix isn’t my favorite Sing remix, it is definitely the coolest with an interesting drumbeat and a (seemingly) faster pace than the original version. Take a listen and don’t forget to ponder about why you’re suddenly dancing to minimal music. I almost had an existential crisis about dancing! :-p

Happy Monday!

PS: Hopefully I chose the right type of Indians (dot vs. feathers) to be chanting? :-p
