Terry Poison — Comme Ci Comme Ca (The Twelves Remix)
What has one of the best centralized music distribution centers online. Case-in-Point: Their notification system tells me about new available downloads for remixes of and remixes by my favorite artists. And this is exactly how I found the above gem, which roughly translates to “like it like this, or like it like that” in English (According to Wikipedia). Delving a little bit deeper into this song that continues to light my feet on fire even after embarrassingly making me dance in the rain, we find that it’s a song about a horny 16-year old French girl who desperately wants a married man.The chorus that this girl sings depicts the following message: “You like it like it like this and like that… whenever.” I’m pretty sure that this song is a defense of Roman Polanski… which is rather unfortunate.
On the other hand though, this remix is bloody amazing because the original is pretty damn blasé. If you want a typical example of Eurotrash [i.e. music played in an Armani Exchange], just listen to the original version of this song. I still find it amazing each time I listen to this songs that The Twelves turned it into a delicious croissant made up of fluffy, dirty lyrics while preserving their signature metric of 130 BPM songs.
