The Shins - Australia (Pete Bjorn & John Remix)

One of my favorite bands of the 2000s has got to be The Shins because of their dorky (I mean that in a good way!) and historically accurate lyrics (Prime Example: When I Goose Step?, which is about how Nazi soldiers marched) as well as their rather unique sound. I found this gem of a remix on Umstrum and quite honestly it is just another great warm weather, lazy day track. While I can’t go to Australia to enjoy the surf, the oil-logged coral reefs, abject racism and lack of Marijuana laws, The Shins have provided me with the next best thing. And this remix is just icing on that cake.
