Tokyo Police Club - Breakneck Speed

As we here at CSoTD have been eagerly awaiting the upcoming Tokyo Police Club album, Champ, it shouldn’t be surprising that my first listen of the single Breakneck Speed led to a tepid response. However, this song has slowly and surely grown on me; it’s definitely not as intricate as Listen to the Math or as melodious as Tessellate. Yet this song is definitely unique for TPC in that is it an excellent tune for an introspective and contemplative day. Hopefully those of you on the Eastern Seaboard are enjoying the beautiful April weather!
